So, for me, a classic, but not so beloved, sign of summer is the annual return of the Skeeter Stick.
In my family, Skeeter Stick is also affectionally known as the "Burning Stick." My cousin Jay once told his mom that my mom had used the "Burning Stick" on him while she was babysitting. But man, I take those "burns" over the itchies any day.
Now, excuse me while I go scratch the heck out of the 79,976 mosquito bites on my leg...

OMG I neeeed this! Dude, my legs are completely inflamed with mosquito bites from walking to froyo the other day. Ahhh, but it was worth it.
Seriously addicted to the stuff. I swear, if malaria ever becomes resurgent in the U.S. again, I will be the first victim. That said, definitely won't give up fro yo for a few bites.
